The Funny Thing Is...

A few days ago a lovely friend of mine and I went to the WFNX Clam Bake and it seemed like the perfect kick-off to the new blog series “A Summer of Living Fabulously.” To be fair, we’d only gone to see one band, The Naked and Famous, but since they were third in the line-up we were forced to listen to whoever came before them. THANK GOD WE DID.
While waiting for our faves we were lucky enough to hear some amazing music that is without a doubt going to added to my summer playlist. DOM, a band from right here in MA, played first, and while I was initially put off by those lanky locks, I was soon dancing along to their musical antics. Young the Giant played second and yet again was distracted. Not by hair this time, but by their all around sexiness. That too soon took second place to their music.
Though it was hotter than the devil’s tuckus, it was an all around great show, and sadly I had to leave early and miss the last two acts. But hey, a good time is a good time right? Right.
