I don’t particularly know why I’m doing this; I’m not one for product boosting. Yet I feel compelled to share this one with the world. A little bit of background: I am a compulsive purchaser of facial cleanser. Hi, this is me, I have a problem. Irritating skin care commercials aside, I love buying face washes. I can’t walk into a CVS without lingering in the skin care aisle. They suck me in like shoes in a shop window. I tried my mother’s Proactiv but got bored, tried the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub and loved it, stole borrowed my roommate’s L’Oreal 360° Deep Exfoliating Scrub and got a horrible rash and after going to the doctor (who turned out to be completely useless) bought Liquid Neutrogena to help clear said rash.
Then I struck gold. How I stumbled upon this I can’t remember, but I somehow found the Clear Pore Daily Scrub (I just realised I’m going nuts with these links). My face isn’t necessarily glowing but after I wash it, it has that lovely Golden Age in Hollywood look to it. Does that make sense? If not, go rent a few movies and you’ll see what I mean. Just look at Ingrid Bergman’s face in Casablanca, or Myrna Loy’s in The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer, or the face of any woman when Cary Grant looks at them for that matter.
Anyway…madly in love with the stuff….can’t stop looking at my face. And before you think “she’s just in the honeymoon phase…she’ll get over it soon enough” it’s been weeks… weeks I tell you, and I still am head-over-newly pedicured heels in love with this stuff.
